I am the Director/Owner and Head Coach of a successful volleyball club in Northern Utah named Prime Volleyball. I love helping kids learn and love the game of volleyball and also be able to teach them important lessons that can be applied to life.

Taryn Horner's journey in the world of volleyball began amidst the sun-kissed shores of Hawaii, where she honed her skills with the Asics Rainbows Volleyball Club. Her passion for the sport only intensified as she ventured into higher levels of competition. As a standout player for the University of Utah from 2000 to 2003, Taryn not only demonstrated her prowess on the court but also showcased her academic dedication, earning Academic all-conference honors and graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Sport Science Pedagogy. Her collegiate years were adorned with accolades, including two Mountain West Conference championships, four NCAA Tournament appearances and a memorable Sweet Sixteen appearance in 2002. Taryn's impact transcends the court lines; she’s been a vital part of the USA High Performance Pipeline, nurturing the next generation of volleyball talent and shaping the future of the sport on a national and international level.
